Enshrined within is the Shinto god that protects the Seki blacksmiths. In the Kamakura Period (1185-1333), blacksmiths moved here from Yamato (modern-day Nara) and founded the shrine.
You can also see Noh costumes and masks which are important cultural properties. These are brought out during the Knife Festival and other special events.
