58th Seki Cutlery Festival, October 11th (Sat) & 12th (Sun)

Exciting News for the Seki Cutlery Festival!

Get ready, everyone! The biggest cutlery festival in Seki is just one month away! We have some super important news about this year’s event that you won’t want to miss.

The incredibly popular Ancient Japanese Sword Forging Demonstration will no longer be first-come, first-served. It has changed to an advance reservation system!

This is a big change, so please make sure you don’t forget to apply in advance. We’d be so sad for you to miss this amazing spectacle!

Schedule:

• Saturday, October 11, 2025
• Sunday, October 12, 2025

Venue:

• Seki Swordsmith Museum, Seki Swordsmith Training Center

Entry Fee:

• Both the Ancient Japanese Sword Forging and the Sword Polishing & Sheath Artistry demonstrations are FREE!

Demonstration Times (for both days):

• 10:30 AM
• 1:00 PM
• 3:00 PM

Capacity:

• 130 people per session（To stand and watch included)

Note:

• If we receive more applications than there are spots, a lottery will be held to select participants.
• The Sword Polishing & Sheath Artistry demonstration will be open to the public as usual, with NO advance reservation required. You can view it freely!
